"I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do. What I can do, I should do. And what I should do, by the grace of God, I will." - Edward Everett Hal
My goal for this website is to give victims a voice and encourage them to speak up by reading others survival stories of true accounts. If one person is helped then it is worth it. I will also be writing articles about some of the angels that did not survive abuse to give you a glimpse into the harsh realities of abuse.
This site will also have current facts, statistics and many other helpful resources. Please continue to check back often, I will be updating it steadily.
Please also take a moment to visit the Faces of Abuse and The Survivor's Wall Album. These angels are very important to me. They are the reason I work so hard to keep their memories alive and make as many cases as possible available to as many people as I can.
These children are more than a face and a few lines in a news article, their stories need to be heard, people need to understand the full impact that these children have felt and are still feeling every day.
Silence is NOT an option, it is OUR duty as adults to protect all children and report suspected abuse.
If you know abuse is going on and you ignore it, you are as GUILTY as the abuser. You can report abuse anonymously at 1-800-4-A-CHILD.
If there is a particular story you would like written or you are interested in writing yourself, please use the contact form at the bottom of the page. I can always use volunteers.
*These articles are written by me, unless otherwise stated and are not to be republished or re-posted without my express permission.*
Thank you to my friend, fellow advocate and child abuse survivor Garrett (G Positive) Kemnow for creating the following video and allowing me to use it. Please take a few moments and view his other videos on youtube.
